Welcome To Our House

Hi All!

My name is Yvette (aka Sky) and I am one half of House of Sky Event Planners. Welcome to our website! After almost 20 years of being in this business, we have FINALLY put together a website. Crazy right? This is our first blog post and I will tell ya, this is a lot!! However, we are excited about sharing all of our thoughts, processes, behind the scenes, and creative ideas with you! We would like this blog to be your go-to for all things events and entrepreneurship. If you are new to event planning, we want you to be able to get answers to all of your questions.

We want you to feel free to answer questions. If we don’t have the answer, we will find it. If you are an expert, we want you to be able to share your thoughts and help us all improve in our craft. We want to be a family where we can learn and grow together. 

Who are we and what do we do?

There are so many different titles out there, that we can’t be bothered to keep up. House of Sky Event Planners are planners and designers. We can do all things EVENTS. Some of our clients come to us with their budget and walk away (these people just want to show up the day of). Some clients want to be hands on, and some just want us to check in here and there. It really doesn’t matter what your preference is, we are here to serve you.

Our goal is to ensure that your guests are in AWE when they walk into your event. We want you to tear up and maybe even “ugly cry” when you arrive. We go above and beyond for our clients, and hope you will become a part of our family!
